RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – On Thursday, the Great American Conference announced a partnership with Game Plan to provide custom eLearning courses to educate its student-athletes and administrators on the impact of sports wagering and integrity in sport.

The GAC, through this partnership, will provide custom eLearning courses to their member schools, student-athletes, and administrators on the impact of sports wagering and integrity in sport. This agreement sets the GAC as an innovator in providing resources for its member schools on important compliance and life-skill oriented topics.

“The expansion of sports wagering in physical and online forms has made educating our student-athletes a top strategic priority,” GAC Commissioner Will Prewitt said. “Game Plan’s sports wagering eLearning platform geared for intercollegiate athletics offers a crucial educational tool that we’re excited to offer the GAC membership.”

These custom sports wagering eLearnings focuses on educating on the NCAA rules, sports wagering marketplace, and state legislations. These can be taken online and on Game Plan’s app to provide flexibility for the staff and student-athletes.

“Sports wagering is a constantly changing and complicated issue,” Game Plan CEO Vin McCaffrey said. “By investing in educational resources for their staff and student-athletes the GAC shows it’s leadership and impressive desire to stay ahead of this complicated issue. I am looking forward to continuing to work with the GAC and their equally as dedicated individual member schools,”

Each of the GAC member schools will also have the option to purchase the entire Game Plan platform, including life-skills modules (transition to college, resume writing, sexual violence prevention, financial literacy, etc), a mentorship platform, and a career marketplace at a discounted rate.

Game Plan’s learning resources provide flexibility by allowing student-athletes to complete the educational programs online and on their own time.  Resources for the programs will be made available via Game Plan’s online platform as well as the company’s app for IOS and Android.
