The Hendrix football team has had seasons that have gotten better each year since reinstating the program in 2013.
It’s a trend the Warriors would like to continue in 2016. Especially now that this is Year Four.
There are 23 seniors on the HC roster and almost all of them have been around since the beginning.
Hendrix was 3-7 in 2013, 6-4 in 2014, and 8-3 with a trip to the postseason in 2015.
The Warriors begin and end the 2016 regular season at Crafton-Faulkner Field.
On Sept. 3, Hendrix hosts Austin College and three weeks later the SAA season begins on the road in Jackson, Miss., against Millsaps.
Both regular season losses last year, to Austin and Berry, were on the road. The Warriors get both those teams at home this season.
The season finale has Sewanee in Conway on Nov. 12.
Hendrix earned a berth in the D-III playoffs in 2015. If the trend of more success continues, it’s likely to think there might be at least one more home game for Warriors’ fans to attend.
