Harding women move into sole possession of GAC lead

The Harding Lady Bisons got a season-high 23 points from A’ndrea Haney and held off East Central, 74-67, on Thursday night to move to 5-0 in Great American Conference play.
Harding is now alone atop the league standings as 2017 gets underway.
Henderson State entered Thursday night undefeated in league play as well, but fell, 85-80, to Southwestern Oklahoma. HSU is now at 4-1, along with Southwestern and Arkansas Tech.
The 13th ranked Golden Suns defeated Southeastern Oklahoma, 69-51, on Thursday.
