Tigers take two to win series with Savage Storm

ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Tigers’ baseball team swept a doubleheader against Southeastern Oklahoma State on Sunday to win the weekend series, 2-1.

The Tigers improved to 10-20 overall and 7-11 in the GAC.

The Tigers won Game One 11-10, thanks to a walk-off homerun by Preston Speers in the bottom of the ninth. J.D. Speed and Jackson Noakes drove in two runs each to give Ouachita the 7-5 win in game two. Sheldon picked up his first win of the year.

Brian Krikorian earned the Game Two victory. Justin Weigle went 5-for-8 on the day with three RBI and two runs scored.
