UAPB seniors’ seasons end in NCAA preliminaries

The NCAA West Preliminary competition for Sireta Roach and Justin Cooper represented the winding down of the women’s and men’s track and field season for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff over the weekend.
Roach, who is a two-time conference champion in the shot put, finished 27th overall in the event with a mark of 15.46m (50-8 ¾) at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kan.
Cooper, a sprinter, placed fifth in the 400m hurdles and 33rd overall (52.85).
