Williams Baptist made to the final six in the NAIA softball World Series, but its run ended on Tuesday with a loss to Oklahoma City.
The Lady Eagles fell 7-1 to the top-seeded Stars in Sioux City, Iowa.
WBC were able to get only two hits on the afternoon. Ashley Lyons got one of them and picked up an RBI as well as her single in the bottom of the seventh brought in Callie Brooks for the Lady Eagles’ only score.
WBC finished the year at 40-21.
